Ted Palmer is currently the Executive Director of the Business Education Council of Niagara (BEC) and is responsible for managing one of the largest and most diverse business education councils in North America. The Council has been recognized as the first non-profit in Canada to be registered to the new ISO 9001-2008 world-wide standard of operation.
Ted has a reputation for developing and managing innovative multi-partner initiatives to meet a variety of community challenges. He has designed models used in communities to initiate strategic partnerships among business, education, community organizations and government required for successful human and economic development. He has assisted communities across Canada and internationally, such as the Kingdom of Jordan, to integrate this partnership approach in their human resource development strategy.
Mr. Palmer was the founding Chair of the Ontario Business Partnership. He is an accomplished education administrator and teaching professional and is the author of Canadian College Accounting and Principles of Accounting, Pearson Education. Ted was recently awarded the 2009 Brock University, Faculty of Education, and Distinguished Alumni Award for his national and international education accomplishments.
